Portret video-object 1992 The video sculpture 'Portret' consists of a glass display
case measuring 30 X 25 X 25 CMS, mounted on the wall at eye level by means of
a steel framework. In the glass case we see a very small black & white
monitor, with the image on its screen as depicted on the demo-videotape. The monitor is placed behind two lenses, which form part of
the glass case. These lenses enlarge and distort the video image, depending
on the position of the observer. There is no sound. |
